Mary of Nazareth International Center
One of the most impressive visitor centers in the world.
The figure of Mary mother of Jesus is the topic of the large and grandiose international center (2500 m2) that recently opened to visitors, following a design and construction process that lasted around a decade. The new center recounts the life story of the Virgin Mary, using multimedia and in 10 languages. The center is next to the Basilica of the Annunciation, which contains the Grotto of the Annunciation, which has historical significance: remnants of ancient Nazareth were discovered when the foundations for the new center were being dug. This is actually the first scientific testimony of Jewish life in Nazareth in the first century CE.
